How Can severe Tinea Cruris On The Groin Be Treated?
Hi doctor, Iam a student studying in9th . Sir,I am suffering from a type of ring worm called tinea cruris (jock itch) on my groin area and beachside of my knee. I tried many Creams .But it can t Clean it away. Sir, Please suggest me good treatment .

Tinea cruris is common. Generally, the treatment is to apply Clotrimazole (clotrin) cream 3 times a day for about 6 weeks. Besides, you need to keep it dry. If this does not work then oral anti-fungal is needed. However, that should only be used after consultation with a radiologist.
